Hello there!
A graduate of the University of Virginia and a fluent German speaker, I spent many years in corporate America struggling to fit my round hole self into a square peg, and I’ve now found my calling as a mindset and business coach for women who want to turn their calling into a successful business in Atlanta, Georgia and elsewhere. (Yes, that part was for SEO. I’ll admit it.)
I believe that each person already knows the answers within, and can find these answers by asking the right questions and listening deeply. In my practice with clients, I use a combination of guided visualizations, insight, Hypnotherapty, EFT/tapping, and Shamanic work to help each of my clients discover what may be holding them back from living their best and most vibrant lives.
I’ve been certified as a Life Coach by the LifeWorks School of Coaching and completed a three year, intensive Shamanic Practitioner Training based on Core Shamanism with Julie Kramer (who is from the lineage of Betsy Bergstrom and Sandra Ingerman). My hypnosis certification is with Mindvalley and Paul McKenna. Many other different spiritual practices inform my practice and help others to heal, including Buddhism and Hinduism.
I have two teen/tween boys and a “not into this crazy stuff” kind of husband (whom I still love dearly). When I’m not coaching, writing romance novels, or being a mom, I like to read, travel, eat anything with spice, and spend time with friends.
Social Justice Commitments:
I’m dedicated to social justice and to partnering with women and non-binary people of color to transform our world into one where equality is an actuality. This includes:
Donating money to causes and organizations in the United States that support women of color, immigrants and families at the border, and indigenous people. Causes I supported in 2020 and 2021: The Loveland Foundation (supports mental health for black women), RAICES (legal support for immigrants and their families at the border), Umi Feeds (meals to the homeless in Atlanta), Native American Legal Rights Fund, the Navajo Water Project, and my local women’s prison.
Elevating black and brown voices on my Facebook group and feed.
Continually having dialogues with white women leaders about how they can promote and elevate black and brown women in their groups and circles.
Removing AAVE from my marketing.
Continually doing my own work. (I’ve paid for training in this area, am continually reading and examining my own thinking. Also continually having these conversations within my family and introducing books and topics at the dinner table.)
Supporting black women businesses, with at least 30% of my vendors to be black women. In 2021, I’ve hired black women for VA services, editing services, and Facebook ads management.
